What Could Happen?

August 2, 2025 · Articles

Time is a concept I often contemplate. Even the lightest digging into
yesteryear’s Presswave posts can reveal that particular fact.

From the very beginning, time has been my obsession. Our world’s
only constant is a truly marvelous thing, even at first glance. Time’s
reflex to be unpredictable never ceases to enthrall and–of course–

unnerve each and every one that follow it’s course. It serves as a
reminder that each passing year, month, day, minute–any amount of

time is another moment fueled by constant variability that can render
integral events at the snap of a finger. In just one month, a plague
might spread across the globe. Given one week, a presidency was
eligible for scandal (the water kind). Even the lowly 24-hour day can

alter culture, history, and lives forever. Life is made in the moments
boldest and most unpredictable. From a first meeting sparking “the
beginning of a beautiful friendship,” to even the tiniest things like
intercepting triumph in a video game’s final moments. In the very
end: the clock is ticking. What could happen?
